Upcoming BMW iX7 electric car in 2027
Very soon in the future, the BMW IX will be the brand’s only battery-electric SUV in the high-end segment. The early details that have surfaced about the BMW iX6 and BMW iX7 won’t be out until the second half of the decade.

BMW iX7 Design
An X7 Electric or an iX7 should go on sale in the second half of the decade, as reported by BimmerPost forum member Yangaldin. It will target the US market in the same way as the gas-powered version.

BMW iX7 Specifications
Given that BMW is years away from iX7 dealers soon, let’s safely assume that it will technically be better than the BMW i7.
The company uses a 101.7 kWh battery pack in the BMW i7 car, the capacity of which could be suitable for an entry-level iX7. While the onboard AC charger allows this to top out at 11 kW, with a public DC charger, it is possible to charge at 195 kW, which will improve with BMW’s future 800V architecture.
