The Audi R8 successor could be based on the SSP sports platform developed by Porsche whose Porsche three-row SUV, the next-gen Porsche Panamera, and the next-gen Porsche Taycan, or on a more performance-focused platform underpinning Porsche.

Lambo & Bentley siblings
According to the report, if Audi gets the green light to the platform a particular sports car, which could be the sister model of Lamborghini and Bentley in the Audi Next.
