Mercedes-Benz EQC, Speed
The EQC SUV will be powered by two electric motors paired with a lithium-ion battery, and a one-speed direct-drive transmission used to power all four wheels. This powertrain delivers a total output of 402 hp and 561 lb-ft of torque.
Mercedes-Benz estimated that it would have accelerated from zero to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. This would have put it behind its major rival in this segment, the Tesla Model X EV. Tesla claims zero to 60 mph of 4.4 seconds for the long-range model and 2.7 seconds for the high-performance version with this Ludicrous mode.
