Maserati Gran Turismo Folgore in 2024 is a hugely reputable Italian company with roots in motorsport and performance vehicles. The company’s offering is as great as it is efficient, and one of its longest-lasting models will be electric by 2024.

However, in 2024, the Maserati Gran Turismo (GT) gets an overhaul for the model year 2024 and will feature two all-new MC20 supercar-like engines and an electric version for the first time.

The 2024 GranTurismo is going to be available with three different trims: Modena, Trofeo, and Folgore. The Modena and Trofeo trim feature twin-turbocharged V6 engines that are compatible with Maserati’s MC20 supercar. However, the front end of this car comes from Folgore. It comes with three electric motors and head-spinning output figures, but it retains the sleek, grand tourer-style profile of the GranTurismo.

Like its namesake, the 2024 Maserati Gran Turismo Folgore is always a grand tourer. It has a long hood, broad lines, and a timeless coupe style. Maserati did not deviate from the design ethos when it came to the new GT but made subtle changes to the car’s proportions and stance to make it stand out from the crowd.

Maserati says that the new Gran Turismo is based on the MC20 with horizontal front lighting, a 3-dimensional logo with a trident, and a unique front-end design that integrates the hood with the front fenders.

At the rear, the car gets an arc-shaped boomerang and a new taillight style with LED lighting. Joe greets the Gran Turismo driver with a greeting and farewell light sequence. An interior lighting system is activated as soon as the doors are closed.

Maserati says premium materials, spacious screens, and metallic finishes make up the interior of the Gran Turismo. Which lacks a gear lever. 

It also doesn’t have buttons on the center screen, instead opting for digital controls. The contrast of colors and materials defines the contrast between the lower and upper dashes.

The new steering wheel with start/stop buttons and controls for the information system comes as standard. However, Maserati has two color options for the wheel, which vary by trim and trim: black for the Modena or Trofeo trims and jeans for the Folgore.

Although all vehicles will have some plastic or cheaper material, Maserati notes that whatever the driver interacts with inside the new GranTurismo will be “real substance.”

It also includes premium natural wood, leather, and high-quality metal components. Lightweight frames support the seats, and headrests are integrated to reduce weight.

2024 Maserati GranTurismo Folgore, Performance

The company is yet to reveal how many electric motors the Grecale Folgore might offer; however, it is said that all-wheel drive is also included, which means that, at the very least, there are two motors, one at the front and one at the rear.

Although the horsepower is not yet known, the Grekel Folgor powertrain can produce up to 590 pounds of torque. Despite this, this electric motor is expected to deliver powerful acceleration that will allow it to compete face-to-face against the Tesla Model X and BMW IX.
