2023 Honda Pilot SUV in USA
A brand new three-row Pilot SUV from Honda is coming for the 2023 model year. It has been improved from the grille to the tailgate and the styling of the new Pilot is boxier and more truck-like, this time giving it a more rigid overall look. A 285 hp 3.5 litre V6 and a 10 speed automatic are standard. Comes with either front- or all-wheel drive and the interior can be installed with room for seven or eight passengers, with upscale Touring and Elite models coming standard with panoramic sunroofs and 12-speaker Bose stereo systems.

2023 Honda Pilot Price
The Honda Pilot has a base retail price of $36,830, which is higher than almost all other mid-size SUVs and until you reach the Elite MSRP: $49,120 and the Black Edition trims $50,620. By then the cost of trim levels adds up to a few thousand dollars.
Honda Pilot Engine and Performance
The all-new 2023 model comes with a 3.5-litre V-6 engine. However, it produces 285 hp of power in the new generation SUV, which is 5 hp more than the previous year and the pilot has ditched the old nine-speed automatic transmission for a new 10-speed unit.
Honda Pilot Fuel Economy
The EPA hasn’t released fuel economy estimates for the new Pilot yet, and we expect it to be the same 20 mpg city as the outgoing model and 27 mpg highway for the front-wheel drive model.

Honda Pilot Interior, Comfort & Cargo
The 2023 Pilot’s cabin is designed with that use case in mind and all models are capable of seating up to eight in three rows. But the EX-L trim can be had with optional second row captain’s chairs which reduces the passenger capacity to seven. Captain’s chairs are standard on the TrailSport. The Touring and Elite models come with a second row seat design where the middle seat portion can be removed and stored under the floor in the cargo area when not needed. Honda claims that the Pilot’s eight cupholders are capable of holding large bottles of 32 ounces of water.

Honda equips all Pilot models with a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance features. It’s called Honda Sensing. And the bundle includes automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam headlamps, and more.

Honda’s latest infotainment interface is fairly easy to use and includes both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
